New fishmates ;p

The 6 silver tetras I brought back a few days ago seem to be adjusting well to the water conditions. So I introduced them to my fishes and they seem to be very comfortable with each other... new fishmates for my fishes.

New additions to the aquarium...

Brought back 6 silver tetras from my lab as the aquarium in my lab is not being well taken care of.. so owner deciding to give away the fishes...and I took the silver tetras home. Will quarantine them for a few days to see if they can adjust to the new environment (especially the water) before introducing them into the main fish tank.

I have learnt that the water chemistry at different parts of a country will have different composition. So tat's the reason for the quarantine. If they can survive, only then it is safe to introduce them to the main tank. Else, the new fishes might catch some disease and pass them to my healthy, well adjusted fishes.
